Other option is a straight cut in the midle of part. Is easy to fix a plastic part. This way, is possible send by normal mail.

I would need to know what year your truck is, and we do not have ford trucks with Cummins engines, all of our diesel engines are Powerstrokes (made by international truck) if the bell housing is the same then a transmission goes for around 1400.00 USD or 3286.78 BRL, that is with transfer case, if you can use you transfer case it would be about 975.00 USD.

Edintruder, I will check shipping costs this afternoon, you might be right on cutting it down the middle, I know I can repair the plastic, have done that many times before.
