Amortecedor dianteiro tracker/vitara/GV mais longo... EXISTE!!!

So I had some time the other night and pulled the wheels to see if my idea will work. I had found that struts for the rear of a Chev sedan - Monroe part # 801831. Charts showed that it has 1.5" more travel than a stock strut. I removed the strut and compared the travel of the two struts. When the struts are extended they are the same length. When compressing the struts the stock one stops at the extension and the new one goes down 1.5" more. So if I installed the new struts and didn't change anything else I would only gain more up travel and no more down travel. The only problem is the coil spring won't compress much more past where it does now before it hits the bump stop.

Fica uma folga na fixação dele, mas dá para resolver, e ganha 1,5" de curso na dianteira.

A OffShox faz amortecedores sobre encomenda para veículos 4x4, inclusive mais longos para Vitara com lift de suspensão.
Alguns membros do fórum usam em suas viaturas.
Fiz um orçamento para o meu Sidekick a mais ou menos um mês e o par dos amortecedores ficava no valor de R$ 1300,oo acredito que pro GV fique na mesma faixa de preço.

Po Alexandre, juro que procurei no google, mas não sei achar peças de carros direito.
Será que é furada arriscar a adaptação?
Rainer, a diferença basica para o offshox é de cerca de 1000 latinhas, só isso.
Custa 80 dolares para comprar esse.

Caro amigo,
ele fala no texto que os amortecedores em questão tem a mesma medida quando extendido, mas 1,5" a mais de curso quando comprimido, o que não daria mais curso à suspensão da tracker nem possibilitaria uso em um lift sem adaptação. Roubada!
