Bom pelo que entendi, no anuncio em inglês, diz que em caso de problema no retentor entre a caixa de redução e o câmbio, o óleo da redução vai todo para o câmbio, ficando, desta forma, sem lubrificação na redução. Essa mangueirinha mantém sempre o óleo circulando entre a redução e o câmbio, evitando assim problemas na lubrificação tanto do cambio como na redução.

This is a hose that is installed to connect the transmission and a two piece transfer case. When the seal between the transmission and transfer case fail the transmission sucks the oil out of the transfer case. This will over fill the transmission and can cause the front seal of the transmission to fail spilling oil on the clutch making the clutch not work properly. The transfer case will eventually be sucked dry of all its oil. If when you remove the fill plug on the transmission and oil flows out of the transmission the seal has failed. With this hose installed the oil will flow back to the transfer case. This is easy to install; just remove the fill plugs from the transmission and transfer case then install the banjo fitting hose with two special washer on each side of each banjo fitting.
This hose is braided stainless steel rubber hose with a teflon liner to aid in preventing heat from the exhaust pipe damaging the hose. The length of this hose is 17.5 inches. The buyer is responsible to verify this is the length he needs. The 17.5 fits a stock four speed and a two piece transfer case.
