Olá amigos, apareceu uma oportunidade de um camarada que vai desfazer a XJ, ele tem kit gás e um kit de suspensão SuperLift.
Sobre o gás li muito, mas ainda não estou convencido.
Agora quanto a essa marca de kit, alguma opinião ?

Não é das melhores, mas não é das piores... Seria uma marca "meia-boca"

Tem que ver se é somente lift, porque geralmente é só visual e não tão funcional...

popularmente conhecida como "stupidlift" eh uma das piores marcas do eua.
se voce se preocupa pela sua seguranca e a dos outros, fique longe dessa merd@. diferente do skyjacker q apenas alguns modelos quebram o suporte, essa apenas alguns modelos nao quebram .

As for Superlift, both.
Superlift TTB product designs are woefully behind the times. The coils are uber stiff, the brackets and radius arms are weak (mine broke in 8 months), the centerlinks are too high on their steering kits, and one of their "engineer" guys i spoke to didn't seem to have any clue at all when I called once to ask about some of the issues plaguing their kits.
(not sure about their warranty or replacement practices, I just welded the s#!t up stronger rather than take the chance of a new part breaking the same way all over again).

Anyway on to the lift itself.

Half of the brackets didn`t fit correctly and had to be modified.
The front end had horrible creaking and popping noises after the lift.
I completely broke one of the main drop down brackets in half , just driving on the street.
I could never get it to hold an align. untill I welded the align. bolts to the upper a-arm.

I guess it was just a disaster from the get-go for me.

I have a buddy that has cracked 2 superlift axle brackets doing some VERY light off roading...have been very sucessful with mine and it didnt kill the ride of the truck either...

I could not agree more! I had a super (crap) lift and it was a spindly piece of engineering. My bud has a rancho and that is one solid center bracket. Run away from the superlift !! The superlift junk is the main reason for most of my front end woes. I had my bracket break twice as well and ended up solving it with a new axle instead of throwing good money after bad.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Don't buy the superlift junk. I have a stuperlift kit on my K5 and a
Skyjacker on my 86 K20 Suburban. I have an excellent comparison in my driveway. The stupidlift
is junk! They do not honor that warranty. They told me on the phone that the warranty only
applies to sagging???? I have the stupidlift softride springs and they flex good, but I bent a front
spring from to much flex. I tried to return it for warranty and they told me that it did not apply to
damage I did to the spring??? Isn't a spring supposed to flex? There is not a mark on the spring,
the top leaf bent at the clamp. I have seen a lot of trail damage and this was definitely a poor
quality piece of metal. I bought a replacement stupidlift spring (just call me stupid) because I
didn't want two different springs on the front of my truck and the second spring is starting to
bend in the same spot. The Skyjacker lift has survived rockcrawling my Suburban and jumping it
in a tough truck competition in an arena which broke one of my Rancho shocks in half. The
Skyjacker springs are tapered with pads and ride better than the original springs. They also flex
awesome, my Suburban ramps 800 with the swaybar connected and full tire pressure. The
stupidlift has square cut springs with no pads and the u-bolts were 3 inches too long. They didn't
even survive crawling over rocks, no jumping. Don't buy the stupidlift kit unless you own a
parade queen. If you are going to work your truck hard then spend the few extra bucks and get a
kit that will last you awhile

Se vc procurar, vai achar post falando mal de quase todos os kits americanos. Skyjacker (skycrapper) Superlift (stupidlift) Procomp (Procrap), Rough Country, Trailmaster, Blackdiamond....

Os únicos que não me recordo de ter lido nada negativo a respeito são os da Rubicon Express e da Full Traction. (Principalmente para o wrangler).

Inspecione o kit, dê umas voltas, passe nuns obstáculos e lembre-se que o kit não foi projetado para carros com kit gas(peso) e as chances das molas irem pro saco, mais rápido, aumentam muito.

claro, nao existe produto que agrade todos 100%. e rubicon tb eh criticado, full traction entao ..... soh nao eh muito criticado, pq nao vende muito ..

o superlift, a qualidade eh meia boca mesmo. jah vi quebrando.

uma vez vi uma avaliação de kits para jeep.
lembro que os melhores colocados eram teraflex, procomp e tomkem.
e os piores skyjacker, superlift e tuff country.
nao lembro a ordem. sei q ia de 1 a 10. acho q tomkem era o 1o.
