Fiz o download de dois arquivos para testar e ambos apresentaram erros.

Tenho conseguido baixar os arquivos, tanto utilizando o GetRight quanto o Download Manager do Mozilla.

Na verdade o download foi feito sem problemas. O que aconteceu é que, por algum erro no computador, depois de descompactado o arquivo não abriu com o Adobe e sim com o bloco de notas. :shock:
Consertado isso, está tudo ok.

What I was wanting to ask is which of the downloads have people been having problems with? (Assuming I understood the posts above correctly)?

If there are problems/faults with some of the files, I'll get them checked again and try to get a known working copy up there. :)

If the problem wth the files is just due to downloading them via the ftp server, I have recently installed a torrent system up there which should hopefully improve things with regards to downloading the files. Where the normal download link is: http://forums.bauchan.org/portal/images/icons/download.png, there is now a second icon to the left of that for the larger files: http://forums.bauchan.org/portal/images/icons/torrent.png.

Clicking on that little green icon will prompt you to save/open the .torrent file for that download. Hopefully, the reliability of the download and availability of the files should be better using the torrent system. The ftp system is still running too, for people who prefer to use that, however. :)


p.s: My apologies for that post being a bit long. :)

Acctually you did, but only partially. On his first post, Aurelio reported a problem with files download, indeed. But on his second post, Aurelio said he figure out that the problem wasn't the download, but some kind of file type mistake.

Thanks anyway for your help. I'll let everybody know that there is an option to FTP download.

PS: I'm assuming that you are the Webmaster. Is that right?

Parece que ele entendeu que houve problemas para o download de arquivos via FTP da página cujo link foi postado no início do tópico. Imagino que ele seja o Webmaster desta página, pois ele informa que caso haja problema com os arquivos ele vai tentar resolver e também informa que instalou a possibilidade de se fazer download pela modalidade "bit torrent".

Agora há, ao lado do botão normal de dowload, um botão verde que aciona a modalidade citada (N.T.: para aqueles que tiverem o software instalado nos seus computadores). Ele também espera que seja uma opção mais eficiente que o FTP, mais manterá esta última opção para aqueles que o preferirem.

Bem esta não é uma tradução juramentada, espero não ter dito nenhuma besteira :lol:

Thankyou for the explanation. :) I just like to try and make sure that there are no problems with the files. The online translator I used had not clarified that final part clearly. :D
