Hello to everyone, I am writing from Italy so as i don t speak Portiguese i try in English
unless you prefer Italian.
I am travelling around South America with my Iveco Daily 55sw18 4x4 camperized.
I ve gone for the time being through Uruguay Argentina Cile and now my vehicle is parked
in Buenos Aires waiting for my return in August.
I would like to come over to Brasil so I would ask if someone could give more informations
regarding places to visit places to stay and some further advises.
Could anyone tell how to behave regarding overnight parking ? do you suggest to sleep in camp sites, petrol station or ??
Any information I would very much appreciate.

p.s Gravelled roads are good enough for my vehicle but not necessarly meant for off-road !!!!
many tks for your help !!

How much time do you have to visit Brazil?

I d'ont speak Englis or Italian, but i will try to help.

In Brazil there is no much structure to travel with trailer, motorhome or Camper. Except in the South area (states named Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Parana near Uruguai, Paraguay, Argentina). So whem you stay in that locations you can park in organized campings. You can find the campings in the internet.
In the rest of the Brasil, from São Paulo to north, there are few organized camping sites, except at the atlanctic coast, and the only option to park is in gas stations along the roads. You have to take information with the local people to find a secure place to park and sleep.

You can find the campings in this site:

October/november is the rain period and some places in Pantanal became flooded. But you can go to the cities and visit a lot of atractions by boat turistic service.
Try to contact some local turism agency by internet. They can help you about parking areas too.
Good luck.
