Coisas interessantes:

1) O câmbio suporta apenas 360Nm, o antigo R380 suportava 380Nm

2) ± 400 páginas só para o motor e seus códigos de falha. (103 páginas para todo o manual do 300TDI)

3) se acabar o Diesel:

"LOW FUEL INDICATION AND RUN DRY STRATEGY"

The run-dry strategy is used to maintain the systems fuel prime at fuel run out. It ensures the minimum amount of fuel is always left in the swirl pot.

The instrument cluster activates the yellow low fuel warning light, (next to the fuel gauge) with 15% of fuel remaining in the tank. The fuel gauge will indicate empty with 11% of fuel left in the tank.

With 4 liters left in the tank the run-dry strategy will be invoked. An engine mis-fire will be induced for approximately 1 mile after which the engine will be shut down. The engine can be re-started in mis-fire mode and will continue to run for a further mile until the engine shuts down again. This can be repeated until the fuel suction port in the tank is uncovered and causes engine fuel starvation and loss of prime. Re-starts after run-dry shut down are not recommended."


4) se for diagnosticada pressão muito alta no rail, seguir os seguintes passos (!):

Check for related DTCs. Rectify as necessary. Clear the DTCs and test for normal operation. Check the fuel rail pressure sensor and circuits. Refer to the electrical guides. The fuel rail pressure sensor cannot be serviced separately. Install a new fuel rail if necessary.

REFER to: Fuel Rail (303-04A Fuel Charging and Controls - 2.4L Duratorq-TDCi HPCR (103kW/140PS) - Puma, Removal and Installation).
Check the fuel suction control valve and circuits. Refer to the electrical guides. The fuel suction control valve is not serviceable separately. Install a new fuel injection pump if necessary.

REFER to: Fuel Injection Pump (303-04A Fuel Charging andControls - 2.4L Duratorq-TDCi HPCR (103kW/140PS) - Puma, Removal and Installation).

Clear the DTCs and carry out a road test to confirm repair.


5) se tiver que trocar um injetor:

To ensure optimum fuel metering, the ECM must be informed of a change of injector through the input of a 16-digit identification number. Inside the hydraulic servo system there are various restrictions with extremely small diameters, which have specific manufacturing tolerances. These manufacturing tolerances are given as part of the identification number, which is located on the housing of the fuel injector.

"Cylinder 1 (injector 1) data incompatible"

Re-enter the injector codes using the approved diagnostic system. Clear the DTCs, test for normal operation.

Perdi algumas coisas do meu HD, entre elas esse manual e não acho para baixar em lugar nenhum.

Compartilho da opinião do Clemente que nada substitui o bom, velho e simples 300TDi, especialmente em regiões remotas.
Mas será que esse motor Puma é tão melindroso assim?
Já existem vans Transit aos montes (que usam o mesmo motor) e não tenho escutado relatos de reclamação desse motor...

amigo meu acaba de devolver seu Defender de 3 anos para a LR. Foram dois motores, 8 injetores, turbo, um câmbio, duas embreagens, um módulo de ABS. Tudo em garantia...

Agora ele anda de Toyota Prado semi nova. Cansou. Ahh, só abastecia com Podium em posto bem freqüentado e não foi pelo Diesel.

Agora se formos adquirir outra(Coisa de muitos anos! se precisarmos claro! isso é segredo porque se a black ouvir fica chateada!kkkk) só 300! E se vier uma puma será num futuro onde 300 serão proibidos de rodar!rsrsr(Deus me livre!)
Fora toda a tecnologia que foge dos padrões "Defender"!
